Pebble Time Smartwatch – Cheap and Simple

As many companies are working hard to penetrate the smartwatch market, Pebble, on the other hand, is just keeping things simple and excellent for many users who prefer simplicity and greatness over anything else. This is one of the best smartwatches on the market, and it’s among the most affordable smartwatches on this list.

This smartwatch impressed me from the time of opening the box, and I loved the simple packaging. It is wrapped with a rubber band strap or steel strap for the users who would like to have a choice. The one I bought came with a steel strap, and for sure it looks far way premium for that price.

Features

  • This smartwatch comes with a beautiful always-on reflective color display that looks dimmer when you look at it under direct sunlight. The Pebble Time Smartwatch also features a water resistance system which allows you to wear it even when there are rains or showers comfortably.
  • The Pebble Time Smartwatch also has an impressive battery life that will serve you for long when fully-charged. Although I didn’t charge mine to the full, it lasted for about four days. However, I charged it in-between the days to boost it. But all in all, this smartphone has an impressive battery life that every user will love.
  • Another fantastic part of this watch is that it has an internal storage capacity that you can install your favorite apps which are compatible with its OS. Just like many smartwatch lovers, I don’t care so much about a watch with or without internal storage. However, this feature elevates this smartwatch to another level. The Pebble Time Smartwatch storage allows you to store anything you need on your watch as well as loading it with some apps.
  • Interestingly, this smartwatch supports watch faces built for both iOS and Android. That means you can always customize your watch to fit your preference at any time. What you will love most is the fact that a majority of the Pebble Time Smartwatch supported apps are free.

However, I also noticed some downsides of this smartwatch despite having lots of impressive features. For instance, it has trackers with all sensors, but the apps installed on the watch look unpolished. The watch’s display is also dimmer and can be hard to read it in broad daylight.

The fact that this smartwatch features countless watch faces and apps, the quality is not impressive enough it’s a mix. The watch features some excellent watch faces and apps, and still bad ones at the same time. You will be surprised to notice that sometimes you might find yourself with lots of bad apps or watch faces.

The smartwatch also doesn’t have a touchscreen feature, which is also another concern as it makes it tough for me to maneuver through the watch OS.

In summary, the Pebble Time Smartwatch makes a perfect choice for people looking for a quality watch below $100. It serves you best since it has a long battery life, lots of features, looks simple and it’s very affordable. Although there some little downsides, the Pebble Time Smartwatch still standouts on the market.
