Receiving bad news can really change your life, sometimes in a good way. Englishman Angelo Mastropieto discovered he had multiple sclerosis and decided to quit his job and build the house of his dreams. And not just any dream home. Her home would be in a cave she discovered in 2009, when she was on a bicycle and had to hide from the rain. A few years later, Angelo made the decision to buy the cave and the land around it.
Angelo found this 700-year-old cave near Worcestershire in England. After the renovation, it now has some features that most caves do not have: heated floors, a rain shower and an internet connection. There is also a beautiful kitchen, which looks like something from a modern and elegant home. Caves tend to be dark places, but not these. There are many windows and doors through which light enters. All this, of course, was not cheap. Angelo spent $160,000 and 1,000 hours of work on the project. However, we believe that the result is definitely worth it. This is what you call the home of your dreams!
You would never think you were in a cave when you saw this lighted room! All the walls are painted clean and nice white and it looks amazing.
Natural light enters through the numerous windows and doors that Angelo has installed at home.
Check out this amazing bathroom with a real rain shower!
We love the use of all natural materials, such as stone and wood. It seems to be very hot and fits perfectly into the theme of the cave.
Take a look at this kitchen! With everything you need: a refrigerator, a stove and, of course, a coffee machine. There is also plenty of space to prepare a delicious meal for family or friends.
Rebuilding the cave took Angela over 1000 hours of work, but don’t you agree that it paid off? The house looks amazing!
Who wouldn’t want to live here?
